Affiliate program terms
The short, plain-English version of how the Spew Affiliate Program works. These terms are a summary — when you’re approved, you’ll get the full affiliate agreement to accept.
Commission
- · You earn 35% of the net subscription revenue Spew collects from each customer you refer.
- · Commission is capped at $100 total per referred customer (across the lifetime of their subscription).
- · Commission is calculated on net revenue — after taxes, processing fees, refunds, and chargebacks.
Content bonus pool
- · Each month we set aside a bonus pool for the best affiliate content — clips, memes, UGC, and videos.
- · Awards are at Spew’s discretion based on quality, reach, and brand fit. Pool size and winners may vary month to month.
- · You keep your commissions either way; the bonus pool is extra.
Tracking & attribution
- · Referrals are tracked through your unique affiliate link with a 60-day cookie window.
- · A referral counts when the customer starts a paid subscription (after any free trial) and remains in good standing.
- · Self-referrals and purchases on your own account don’t qualify.
Payouts
- · Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal or Stripe once your balance reaches $50. A balance under $50 rolls over to the next qualifying payout.
- · Commissions finalize after a ~30–60 day holding period that accounts for refunds and trial cancellations.
- · You’re responsible for any taxes on what you earn; we may request a W-9/W-8 before paying.
Promotion rules
- · Always disclose the relationship (e.g. “#ad”, “affiliate”) per FTC guidelines.
- · No spam, misleading claims, fake reviews, incentivized clicks, or purchased/bot traffic.
- · No paid search ads on Spew-branded keywords, and no impersonating Spew.
- · Don’t give individual financial, tax, or investment advice on Spew’s behalf — Spew is a personal cash-flow tool, not advice.
- · No promises of guaranteed savings, returns, or income.
Good standing
- · Either side can end the partnership at any time. Earned, finalized commissions are still paid.
- · Violations (fraud, abuse, or breaking the promotion rules) can void unpaid commissions and end the partnership.
- · We may update these terms; we’ll let active affiliates know about material changes.
